Unlike Old No. 7, which is blended from thousands of barrels, Single Barrel Select is bottled one barrel at a time — meaning every bottle is slightly unique depending on where that barrel was stored in the warehouse.

The barrels are aged in the upper levels of the rickhouse, where temperature swings are greater, helping develop a bolder, more concentrated flavor.
