Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 is the flagship product of the Jack Daniel Distillery, made since the 1860s in Lynchburg, Tennessee. It’s technically a Tennessee whiskey (not bourbon), because it undergoes the Lincoln County Process — being filtered through sugar maple charcoal before aging, which smooths out the whiskey’s raw edges.

This slow, deliberate filtering process gives Old No. 7 its signature smoothness and slight smokiness, setting it apart from regular bourbons.
