The Glenlivet 15 Years Old takes the distillery’s signature smooth and fruity character and deepens it through selective maturation in French Limousin oak barrels — the same type of oak often used for fine cognac.
This rare oak imparts a distinctive spiciness and nuttiness to the whisky, creating a richer, more luxurious mouthfeel compared to the 12-year-old.

It’s still unmistakably Glenlivet — fresh and fruity — but now with added depth, body, and a velvety texture that makes it feel more mature and complex.
