1792 Small Batch Bourbon is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon produced by the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, U.S. Named for the year Kentucky became a state, it’s made using a "high-rye" mash bill and matured in new charred American oak barrels. Though it formerly carried an age statement of 8 years, it is now NAS (No Age Statement). Bottled at ~46.85% ABV, it aims to balance sweet, rich bourbon traits with spice and oak complexity.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Deep amber-gold with warm sheen and a medium viscosity in the glass.
Aroma: Vanilla custard, caramel, oak, dark cherries, hints of leather and baking-spice (cinnamon, clove).
Palate: Rich caramel and toffee sweetness up front, with vanilla, rye spice, oak char, mild fruit (red cherries/apples), touches of pepper.
Finish: Medium length; lingering oak and spice, sweet caramel and vanilla, with a mild warmth.
ABV: 46.85%

Serving Suggestions: Best enjoyed neat or with a single large ice cube to open up oak and spice. Also works in cocktails like an Old Fashioned or Boulevardier where its caramel and oak tones stand up well. Pair with dark chocolate, cedar-smoked meats, or aged cheeses to complement its richness.
